OH MY GOODNESS...it's SNOWING in our neck of the woods! Two years in a row...I can't believe it. Some of you may be laughing because snow is no big deal to you, but for those of us who live in Southern Texas, it's MAGICAL!!!

Oh, and the weather man said the cooler air hasn't even made it down our way yet, so it looks like it might just snow all day long here! It's just now starting to stick, so I'll post pictures later.

Gotta go sit by the window and watch it while I can...it's BEAUTIFUL!!!

Burkley's Bling

Mom and I (and Brooks) took Burkley to get her ears pierced on Wednesday afternoon. I was a nervous wreck, but survived. And, so did she. She cried, but not for long (about the same as when she gets a shot). I think what made her so mad was me holding her legs and arms down and my mom holding her head still! Her little earrings are perfect and look precious in her tiny little ears! Here's the pictures!!

Thankful...times TWO

So many reasons to be thankful this year...

* God, for listening to my many prayers, answering my prayers, and continuously blessing my family.

* For the two precious miracles that helped create these two little turkey hands.

* My fantastic family and wonderful friends.

* My health

* My husband who works his tail off to provide for our family.

* Being able to stay at home with B&B and watch them accomplish new milestones has been amazing (another shout out to my hubby...thank you, thank you, thank you)!
