You'll Want to be the FIRST to Get These...GIVEAWAY!

OH MY GOODNESS!
If you are a mommy, you will not want to pass up this opportunity to get your hands on this!
Social Kiddo Cards!!
When Gabby, the owner of Kiddo Tags, first contacted me to review her product, I was thrilled and couldn't wait to get my Social Kiddo Cards in the mail.
I mean seriously, how creative, how cute, and how handy.
I can't tell you how often I'm digging around in my purse and/or diaper bag looking for a scratch piece of paper and a pen to jot down my name/kids names, number, email address, or blog address for someone.
Instead of whipping out my phone and trying to type in a name/phone number, I can now whip out my Social Kiddo Cards!
Here's a little note from Gabby, the owner of Kiddo Tags
A must have for a Social Mommy's purse and or Social Kiddo's back pack. These were created when my daughter wanted to give her friends her phone number to schedule play dates outside of school. Also, I like to use them when I meet someone while out and about, at the playground, Daycare etc. I found myself using them on the tennis court as a personal fun info card.I also use them on birthday presents (replacing the to/from tag) or to insert into a card (thank you's, birthdays, baby showers etc) cards.

Gabby is so graciously giving away a set of Social Kiddo Cards to ONE of my lucky readers!
(I know you are SUPER excited)!

For Sale

Yep, it's true!
We decided to put our BEAUTIFUL home up for sale.
We've been talking about it for quite some time and decided on doing it after the first of the year.
It was a hard decision to make because we love our house, love our neighbors, and love our neighborhood, but we are busting at the seams.
When we built this house, it was just Cory and myself and we never expected to have two little ones at once.
What are our plans you ask?
Well, that's a good question!
If it sells quickly, we will split the time living with our parents until we can find something a little larger and a little closer towards our parents (but still close to the funeral home).
Call us crazy, but I know our parents are secretly praying that it does sell quick so that we can move in with them...and so are we! Ha ha ha...we LOVE our parents and have much fun with them!
We are not ready to build again anytime soon because we are still looking for the perfect place to build our forever home!
It was listed late, late Thursday night and the lock box was put on the front door and the sign was put in our yard first thing Friday morning.
By Friday afternoon, the company that schedules showings had already sent me a text wanting permission to show it this past Sunday.
WOW!
I spent all day Saturday and most of Sunday morning picking up and making sure everything was just perfect...which is HARD work when you have two little ones dragging stuff back out that you put up every minute!
The couple that looked at our house really liked it but were going to see another house and then were going to "talk" about them...which I totally understand...but I want to know what they "really" thought about it and if they are interested!
We shall see!
I'm ready for this fun yet exhausting journey and I'm praying that the perfect couple comes along and snatches it up quickly!
But honestly, I hope I live to see the closing day, because it's hard trying to keep this place looking "perfect" all day long...never know when they might text letting me know a showing is within a few hours!
I'm off to pick up this place again for the millionth time today because our relator is bringing over all the relators that work in her office tomorrow after their meeting so she can show it off to them!
Toodles...I'll keep you posted!

Happy Birthday to Me #2

Last night we celebrated my 31st birthday with Cory's parents and our niece and nephew!
We met for pizza at one of our favorite pizza joints here in town.
And then everyone came back to our house for cake (which was a total surprise)!
My o-so-yummy cake from Nana and PaPa!
The teal and turquoise icing was a HUGE hit...you'll see for yourself in just a minute!
My little monkey's waiting to sing to me!
Burkley is in this "fun" stage where she has to pick out every single item of clothing and she even tells me how she wants to wear her hair.
Obviously, she wanted to wear it down!
Watching daddy light all the candles.
Look at those sweet faces, would you?!?
PaPa and his oldest princess Avery!
Nice face, I know!
But, we were all singing!
I think hearing B&B sing to me was by far the best part of my birthday on Tuesday and last night...it's so sweet!
Making a wish and blowing out the candles with a little extra help!
See, I told you the icing was a HUGE hit.
And in more ways than one!
Turquoise teeth!
Brooks enjoying some of mommy's birthday cake with PaPa!
BIG BITE!
Stained teeth, lips, and hands!
But so worth every single bite!
Showing off her turquoise tongue!
Colton enjoying cake too!
Thanks Nana and PaPa for surprising me with another little birthday party.
It was so special!
XOXO

Poor Little Guy

This sweet little guy wasn't feeling so hot on Monday.
He spent the majority of the day on the couch sleeping.
I mean, we did have a super busy weekend and he did spit up a bunch of mucus (which was a good thing) when he woke up, but he just wasn't himself.
When he woke up (around 5 in the evening) he was screaming because he was hungry and wanted pizza pie!
He screamed the ENTIRE time the oven was warming up and the ENTIRE time the pizza was cooking.
LONGEST 13 minutes EVER!
Once it was done, the boy scarfed down 4 pieces!
Yes, FOUR pieces!
He was a total different person after his tummy was full...and after a blow out diaper!
Ran around playing and acting silly until almost 11 o'clock that night!
So glad my little man is feeling better!

Kinda Wordless Wednesday...Breakfast Edition

I'm currently enjoying this breakfast of champions!
So yesterday was my 31st Birthday!
And it just so happened to be one of "those" days!
One that started bright and early with two doctor appointments for B&B (8:20 and 8:30).
It's never easy setting your alarm for 5:45 so you can get yourself ready before the kiddos wake, much less on your BIRTHDAY!
Trying to get two little ones up, fed, dressed, and out the door by 8 AM isn't an easy task.
But, we made it!
Diagnosis...sinusitis AGAIN for both of them (something they will both struggle with forever...but they get it honestly from me)!
Medication...a whopping 90 bucks...AGAIN (Burkley's last medication that she was on just last month was 98 bucks with insurance)!
After that adventure, we rode with my mom to pick up my delish cookie cake.
We then picked up a few burgers and some nuggets and enjoyed a nice lunch with Nea, Poppy, Maw Maw, and Ms. Josie.
B&B had a few tantrums.
We headed home for nap time...they took a good nap.
I was able to sew for a bit, pick up the house, wash and fold clothes, and talk on the phone without distractions!
My parents, Kyle, Sheri, and the girls ended up coming over for pizza and cookie cake and then we called it a night.
I was exhausted and slept like a baby...and so did B&B.
Thanks again to all of my family and friends for the cards, phone calls, emails, and texts...ya'll always make me feel so special.
And although I know 31 isn't "that" old, it does look and sound strange to me!
Here's to many, many more!
