My New Craft

I just wanted to share my new craft with all of you.

I saw this idea several weeks ago, fell in love, and knew I could do it.

This picture of B&B has always been my favorite, so I knew I wanted to use it.

It was taken on the day that B&B were reunited after being separated for 12 LONG days while Burkley was in the NICU.

Isn't it sweet?!?!

This one in particular is a 2X2 and I also have a round tile and a long rectangular one as well.

It can be worn on any ribbon or leather necklace or it can be worn on a piece of bandanna like the one above to match any outfit (that seemed to be the "in" thing at the rodeo this year).

Haircut, Haircut!

Somebody got his ears lowered today at Kool Cuts for Kids!

And he LOVED it this time (our last visit was post shots and he wanted nothing to do with it...cried the entire time and would not even sit in the firetruck).

But today, he sat in the firetruck, watched the silly guy in the video, rang the bell, played with the game controller, and watched his sister, Grammy, and mommy!

I'm quite sure he just took a swig of lemonade for the first time with the face he is making.

And tryin' to get a good facial picture with him sporting his new trim job, but that wasn't going to happen...not even with a camera that is super fast!

He looks sooooo grown up and is just as precious as ever with his hair cut like a big boy!

And he knows it to because he's been so silly and making the cutest facial expressions!

15 Months

It's hard to believe that B&B are already 15 months old (I know I

say that every month).

This was them last year on March 21st!

Boy, how they've grown!

(and if your wondering why Brooks is in a purple Bumbo, it's because they were both borrowed)!

He's/She's Country

We, meaning myself, Cory, Grammy, Poppy, Brooks, and Burkley, loaded up Thursday afternoon and headed up to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. We didn't go last year since B&B were only a few months old, so I was super excited about taking them this year. Both B&B love animals and have recently found a love for cows, horses, chickens, and quack quacks! The neighbors across and down the street from my parents have horses and chickens, so as soon as B&B get out of the car, their little fingers start pointing and they start calling the horseies...it's the cutest thing ever! It was a gorgeous day on Thursday and it was a bit crowded, but we didn't let that stop us from having a good time! We did miss Aunt Shu Shu, Kyla, and Shea...Kyla had croup and was running a fever, so they weren't able to go with us. That just means that next year will be even better!

I'm sure one day we will be carting something like this back to the car like this daddy had to do, but we decided that the picture would do for now!

Easter Bunny

B&B visited the Easter Bunny on

St. Patrick's Day.

They didn't cry, but they were a bit unsure of him...

hence the NO smiles!

Spring is in the Air

Oh my goodness!

The weather was gorgeous out today, so B&B spent the entire afternoon outside playing with their cousins, Kyla and Shea.

They had a BLAST!

Needless to say, our little ones are worn out and are sound asleep.

I'm hoping that Brooks will sleep in tomorrow morning...

he's been waking up when the roosters crow!!!
