Ours was wonderful...very low key (until the UT/A&M game...thank goodness our boys in orange pulled off a WIN). Just thankful we made it through the first of many firsts without Pop and Maw~Maw.
OH MY GOSH...Avery celebrated her 8th Birthday yesterday at the SKATING RINK, and we had a BLAST! Brooks and Burkley skated from 1:30 until 4:30 like ROCKSTARS! Seriously, you would have never known it was their 1st time on skates. They did outstanding and after about 30 minutes on wheels, they thought they were pro's and wouldn't let us hold their hands anymore. I laughed the ENTIRE time as it brought back so many fun memories from my childhood! I LOVED skating as a child and still do. In fact, I might just have my birthday party at the skating rink in a few months! I did take videos with my phone, but for some reason, I can't upload more than one at a time, so the skating pics/videos may be several posts. And I promise you, you want get tired of seeing the picture or the videos. The BEST video is posted below (and before watching, you better go potty because my little man is GROOVIN')!!!!

I promised you more Halloween pictures, but I never meant to keep you waiting a few weeks! So much has happened over the past two weeks and I just can't seem to get caught up on anything! Anyway, here's a few more pictures of my scary shark and precious mermaid!

Shea the kitty cat...who SCREAMED every single time she saw her tail!
Had to document this special kiss...Shea gave Uncle Cory his first kiss ever!!!
Our family has suffered another huge loss this past week. My precious Maw~Maw (my moms mom) passed away last Tuesday at the age of 91. She would have turned 92 next month (the 22nd of December...the day after the twins birthday) and you would have never known it...she was as sharp as a tack! Even at almost 92 years old, her passing was unexpected and very sudden. When it came to grandmothers/great grandmothers, Maw~Maw was by far the BEST of the BEST. She had a heart bigger than anyone I have ever met and there was never a time that she didn't let us know just how much she LOVED us. I know that she is an angel and that she's in a better place, but the selfish side of me if having a hard time accepting that right now. I've lost 2 very close and very special grandparents within 6 weeks, so I (along with my entire family) could definitely use your prayers during this difficult time.
I'm a wife, daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, a Godmother, and a mommy to precious boy/girl twins that were born in December of 2008. I'm a former first grade teacher that is currently enjoying my new job as a SAHM. It's not always easy, but I thank God and my husband for providing for our family and allowing me to spend this time with our children. This blog was created to keep family and friends up to date on our journey to parenthood. It was an emotional rollercoaster ride, filled with a lot of highs and lows, but was well worth the wait. Just take a look and see for yourself!
