TWO Peas In A POD!!

Well, Cory and I had an unexpected doctor's appointment. I had a little scare this morning when I went to the restroom (a little brownish discharge...in case you wanted to know) and I wanted to double check to make sure everything was fine. There was NO way I would be able to make it until Thursday. The nurse told me to come in as soon as possible and they would squeeze me in as soon as they could (we only had to wait about 20 minutes or so). I left work (without even leaving plans for a sub) and I headed out to the cemetery to pick up Cory (yes...he was in the middle of a graveside service).

I explained to the doctor what was going on and he didn't seem to concerned about it. He said that it's not "normal" but it is common. He then continued with the ultrasound and guess what he found.?.?.?.?.? SEE THE ULTRASOUND PICTURES BELOW!!

How SWEET...My TWO Little Pea's in a POD!!!

Isn't this so exciting! My little scare was clarified once we discovered that there are two little miracles growing inside me! The doctor informed me that spotting (I was not spotting) is NORMAL in multiple pregnancies at first, so if this happens, it's normal. He also said that they are probably moving around and trying to compete for the "best" place in my uterus, or they could have bumped into a blood vessel, or that "things" inside me are growing and changing causing the discharge. It's not a lot, but I wanted to be safe and not sorry. We are both so happy that I decided to go ahead and go up there. Oh, I almost forgot. The estimated due date for the doctor was January 17, 2009 and the computer calculated (with the measurements of the sac's) January 18, 2009...which is my BIRTHDAY!!! They will more than likely be born early, but I thought that was so cool!!! What a great gift! Who knows, we may have Christmas babies!!!

Again, thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers. God has truly blessed us and answered our prayers. We have waited almost 4 years for these miracles and they will be here before we know it. Please continue to keep us all in your thoughts and prayers. Everyone is on CLOUD NINE!!!
