9 Month Stats

B&B had their 9 month well child appointment bright and early Tuesday morning. Daddy was able to go along with us and I'm SO glad he did. They weren't suppose to get shots this time around (I think that's why daddy went along), but we decided to go ahead and give them a flu shot since they are still considered preemies (born at 36 weeks) and since I will be working up at the school a few days a week. The doctor also suggested that Cory and I get the shot just in case, so we did. I know you are itching to find out their stats, so here they are...

Mr. Brooks sporting his SUPER cool guitar shirt
Weighing in at a whopping 20 pounds 7 ounces
28 inches long
Little Miss Burkley in her leopard attire
Weighing in at a WHOPPING 13 pounds 8.6 ounces
26 inches long
She's still tiny, but is growing at a constant rate, so Dr. Binder wasn't too concerned. She eats like a little piggy, so I guess she's going to be little like I was. Burkley ended up having to have blood drawn at this appointment so they could check her levels since she only has one kidney. It was HORRIBLE. Her daddy was the lucky one who got to hold her down while I was in the corner holding Brooks and crying like a baby. Did I mention that it was HORRIBLE? She was looking at me just bawling...ugh...it was HORRIBLE. She was a little trooper and I'm so proud of her.
Sweet baby girl showing off her battle wound.
